Services
The York Centre provides a range of treatment and intervention services for children, youth, and families who live in York Region. Services are provided by a multi-disciplinary team based upon a comprehensive approach to social, emotional, behavioural, mental health, academic, and family needs.
The specific services provided to the community by the York Centre are:
Individualized Service Plans
Based upon information gathered from the child, youth, family, school and relevant helping professionals, an individualized, goal-focused treatment plan is developed, based on strengths and needs. This is the basis for the partnership between the family and the Centre.
As required, specialized assessments, including psychological, psychiatric, speech and language, motor skills and expressive therapy may be provided by The Centre.
